Aircraft Avionics Software Engineer

ICEYE is looking for an Avionics Software Engineer experienced in Uncrewed Aerial Vehicles (UAV) to join its HAPS (High Altitude Platform System) development team. As an Avionics Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, prototyping, integrating, and testing the software components of our avionic systems for the HAPS platform.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing the software solution for a novel UAV platform from the beginning.
• Integrate COTS and custom designed avionics components into a working UAV platform.
• Tune the flight controller parameters for optimal aircraft stability and performance.
• Development and implementation of Command & Control segment of UAV systems.
• Create a simulation and visualization platform for UAV Hardware In the Loop Testing.
• Discover and understand requirements, develop verification procedures.
• Participation in flight test campaigns and in-flight data analysis.
