Quality Manager

You will be a member of the Management Team of our site of Groot-Bijgaarden. You will ensure the food safety and legality of the products based on the codex Alimentarius and relevant regulations. You ensure the environmental legality of the site, based on relevant regulations and operating permit. You will implement the Puratos Quality and Environment standards and policy (5S, GMP & Pre-requisites, Process Control, Food Safety HACCP, GFSI’s & ISO norms, Organic, Puratos guidelines, Halal, Kosher, Feed,…). You will ensure the Continuous Improvement for manufactured process and key business process towards Operational Excellence. You will be responsible for all operational performances of your department and drive the development of the team towards Process Capability to increase efficiency of QC and QA. You will maintain successful interaction with all manufacturing site functions and effectively serve (internal / external) customer needs.

Key Accountabilities

• In your general management responsibilities:
  • Implement GMP, HACCP, Quality certification, Customer requirements, Puratos Standards
  • Be a member of the multi-disciplinary team (BU, R&D, Engineering, Operations) for the introduction of New Products, Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, whilst applying a Management of Change procedure. Focus on Quality and Environment aspects
  • Ensure that QA & QC people and equipment are complying with all relevant Puratos safety standards & procedures with regard to behavioural & equipment safety
