Description

Due to increased activity, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer/ Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Global Product Engineering team in Stavanger, Norway. The position is part of a vibrant, energetic, and positive working environment, in a multinational company that mobilizes personnel and equipment operations all over the world.

Responsibilities

Develop Intervention and Isolation devices used in the oil and gas industry in accordance with customer requirements and applicable codes
Create 3D designs and 2D drawings using SOLIDWORKS
Support the customer Sales quotation process
Lead resolution of non-conformities and customer claims
Perform stress calculations and validate designs using FEA
Accountable for cost and time estimates of development projects
Specify readily available materials for the manufacture of designs
Provide technical expertise for equipment field operations and installations
Support the manufacture/quality control of products/engineered solutions
Fulfill manufacturing, assembly, test, and service documentation needs
